| Any successful stories of Spleen removal? My 10 year old Yorkie was recently diagnosed with cancer in the spleen (hemangiosarcoma).I am absolutely devastated. The worst part is that there is no cure. He can have the spleen removed but this will only give him 3 more months and vet says even after surgery there is no guarantee he will be his old self again. He is very weak and anemic as well. Does not eat very much. I decided not to do surgery but was wondering if anyone else has a Yorkie who had this same diagnosis and had spleen removed and was healthy afterwards? I would love to extend his life for 3 more months but don't want him to suffer. If anyone else has gone through this horrible ordeal please let me know what you did. Thanks.

| Oh, what a thing to go through. I am so very sorry. I have not had experience with it so really cannot offer much but prayers. I know you will make the right decision for your baby.
