Just an upset tummy or do we need the vet? My little guy, who is 2, started acting strangely on Sunday. He was hiding under the bed, was slowly crouch-walking, shaking and wanted to be held (he was not scared). He normally wants to be held if he isn't feeling well. It passed after a couple of hours on Sunday. He went out for a walk, played and was eating and drinking as usual. He pooped later that night, which was normal. Monday he had some softer poops in the afternoon that appeared to have blood in them (although it could have been caused by a pink sandwich cookie treat he had earlier in the day). He was eating and drinking normally and had regular activity levels. Today he had a few normal-colored soft poops in the morning, but is still eating and drinking normally. I gave him some watered-down broth and oatmeal... and he somehow got into my lunch and ate half of my peanut butter sandwich He has been acting his normal, playful self. He has not thrown up and hasn't had the shakes since Sunday. I have not called the vet yet because he hasn't had diarrhea, his poops haven't been bloody/pink and his activity/eating/drinking is normal. He takes Revolution and is up-to-date on shots. His food has remained the same. The only thing I can think of he's had different is highly-digestible mini rawhide bones. He had a little bit of one yesterday but I've taken it away. I'll have to see how he is when I get home from work today. Suggestions? I'm thinking if the soft poops continue he should go to the vet on Wednesday.

Those rawhide bones can create issues if swallowed in large pieces. I only allow mine rawhide bones when I am watching them knaw on them, and I keep cutting off the sof, chewed portion so they benefit from the chewing on the rawhide, but dont swallow that rawhide.

He will be going to the vet tomorrow. Still having loose poops and a little bit of diarrhea with a bit of blood. We have been feeding plain oatmeal and watered down broth. He acts like he is starving.
