Problems walking We do not know what to do! We keep our 11 lb Yorkie, Pierre, in a kennel while we are not at home. This afternoon, acting like himself, he ran to his kennel when I got his treat. I was gone 45 minutes. When I returned Pierre carefully walked out (he normally runs out in front of us). He is favoring his front left paw and now (a few hours later) he is refusing to walk at all. I had to carry him to his food, which he ate normally. Then we heard a wimper and I went back and carried him back to his bed in the living room. What can we do?

We did take Pierre to the vet late last night. When I sat him on the floor for the vet to look at his symptoms he walked around the room. He is back to himself today. We have no clue what happened yesterday, but we will watch him closely!

My 13 year old boy was doing this too... One day fine the next day not walking, he tested positive for lymes disease. You may want to run some bloodwork and check.
