| Yes, he needs to be seen since he might have torn a ligament. Crate rest him and do not allow any running or jumping until he is seen by your vet.

| Dinky tore a ligament recently and is now recovering from surgery. I found out that it is not unusual to believe a dog has recovered after a few days of taking it easy The inflammation goes down and pain recedes, but there will be a relapse. It's better to find out sooner than later I the ligament is torn. Hope the injury is not serious! |
