just in need of advice! Hi, I have a little yorkie, Jessie she only weighs @ 4lbs, she has always squeaked occasionally and is a timid little dog, we also have a slightly older, heavier yorkie, bonnie, they get on well, but in the last few days Jessie is lifting one leg up every so often when walking and running, then turns towards her leg and nudges it, she is also reluctant to go out and sits on her blanket, and is squeaking, not all the time, I am wondering if she and bonnie have had a bit of rough and tumble and she has hurt her leg, she is eating, drinking and going to the toilet, no problem, any advise greatly apprecitated, Thanks.

Jessie Sorry to hear your baby girl has leg issues. Could it be her knee is hurting her? If I were you I would take her to a vet to be checked out. Hoping she is diagnosed and gets well soon.

Thank you, I don't think it is her knee, she seems to be nudging her groin, I will take her to the vet tomorrow, thanks for your reply.

You didnt say how old this baby is....I would vet her simply because it could be just an injury to her hip from playing with a larger pup, or it could be a condition where the blood supply to the head of the femoral bone is diminished and it is painful and it gets worse....
