| Had Teeth Removed - Baby Is Weeping Had the vet remove Dollies baby teeth and canine's that hadn't come out. Dollie is 14 months old. We just picked her up a couple of hours ago and she seems to be doing okay EXCEPT she baby wines. Has anyone out there had this done to their baby and what can I expect? I am just worried. The vet said this is natural and she should be doing better tomorrow! Can someone comment on this procedure for me. I'd sure appreciate it.

| All thats too bad that your vet didnt send you home with some pain meds too. My vet did. I would just keep her as comfortable as possible and take her back to the vet if she is still hurting tomorrow. Maybe he will give you pain meds then.

| Awww poor baby!! That is so sweet that Daddy is holding and comforting Dollie. I'm guessing tomorrow she might feel better, if not I would rest assure he will give Dollie some more pain meds to make her more comfortable. Schatzie and Ransom send "get well hugs" .

| Poor baby! Lots of TLC. Our vet told us that Tucker had enough meds for 24 hours too. She may just be whining because she is miserable not exactly in pain, just weary. I hope she feels better soonl.

| Gucci was spayed on Oct and she also had her 4 baby canines pulled. The vet told me that she didnt needed any more pain meds and to bring her back in the next day if need too. She really didnt whine or ate that day. She felt better the next day and ate. I guess all you can do is help Dollie feel comfortable. Hopefully by tomorrow Dollie will feel better. |

| I know all about this! Porscha was spayed and had 16 teeth pulled! I also got to take her teeth home, she was so sad and wouldn't get much I kept getting her to drink small amounts of sugar water off a spoon (wouldn't take it from the bowl). We had pain meds for 4 days afterwards I only gave them to her for two of those days b/c of her surgery. She started acting a little better the next day and eating some soft foods and then was back on hard food 3 days after the teeth were pulled. Don't worry I think the pain meds made her worse than without them! Tell her to feel better! Porscha says she knows what she is going through!! |

| Thanks to you all I can't tell you how much it means to me to have friends like you all to talk to. I feel so much better and I have to say Dollie is resting now and not crying as much. I gave her some food and she wanted more. I didn't give her any more because I don't want her to throw it up. She is such a little trooper. The vet took out 14 teeth. I am hoping that she is better in the morning and I really feel she will be. There isn't a better site on the internet than Yorkie Talk. I read this all the time and post when I can. Yorkie Owners Rule and I do mean it. I think not only is the Yorkie a "Very Special Breed", but Yorkie Owners are "A Breed Of Their Own"....God Bless You All and Thank You So Very Much For Caring..... Hugs and Kisses From Dollie and Dollie's Mom
