He said she wasnt contipated. He put his finger down her rectum he said it was normal. He saw the xray he said she was going to potty soon. She has been barking at sounds , when she wasnt even barking at all since yesterday. |

I totally agree! Waiting seems awfully dangerous!

| The object is very tiny,so is your baby. So in relationship to what is in her,it isn't tiny. A single strand of thread in a 4lb pup can be equal to you swallowing kite string. Therefore this tiny piece of plastic ,really isn't tiny in her body. I truly hope that it passes quickly. Please take this baby back to the vet for another xray tomarrow to see if it has move ANY and if not a scope should be used to remove it. |

We were actually playing with a toy fetch just now, she starting to get a little hyper again when she sees family member again, before she wouldnt even get up. She still calm at times and sleeping often but im seeing her get back to normal lil by lil. | Glad to hear she is improving, and pooping okay. Also glad you will be going for a re-check. I would be really nervous that she is not back to full speed already. An xray can only show so much, so there would not be a way to determine if a white spot on a film is a piece of plastic. A coin or some other really distinguishable object can be identified, but most things not. Keep us updated.

| I'm glad to hear things are improving. I think my heart jumped when I read your description of her crying at the vet. I went through something a bit similar with my girl. I took her to the vet where they performed X-rays, saw a blockage and immediately decided to keep her. Everything turned out fine but she was kept all day and overnight until it was resolved. I think your situation reminded me of that. Thanks for posting the follow up. |

| Glad to see your lil Mia is eating and pooping, just wondering if she passed what ever was seen on the xray. Just to give you a bit of what I HAD TO DO with my lil boy. Last month my Cody was diagnosed with Coccidia (intestinal Parasite) after I "choose" to bring in a stool sample just for the "hell"of it, his visit was for environmental allergies. For the Coccidia he was treated with Marquis Parquis/Ponazupl. The day after His first dose of Marquis Parquis/Ponazupl, I saw some white things in his poop, so I asked my YT family what could it be. One member advised "as gross as it may be" mush up the poop to see if it is worms. Mush up poop . 35 + years I have dogs, cleaned off diarrhea that was stuck to their butts, but mush up poop to look for worms double . Well if that's what needed to be done, that's what I'll have to do. Was it pleasant? NO, did it STINK? YES, but this is my baby, for a week I was the master of poop mushing, and I did find living worms, over a period of a week I saw dead worms, I had called my vet, spoke with a tech, asked if the Marquis Parquis/Ponazupl would kill these other worms besides the Coccida, I was told it would. Had this member not told me to do this gross poop mashing, I would never have thought to do that, and would never had known besides the Coccida he also had what could have been tapeworms as well. I have not seen any thing, yet 3 times a week I will do the poop mashing looking for worms. What I am trying to get at here is. Sometimes we have to do some very unpleasant things to help our lil furbutts lead a healthy life, when we purchase our babies we never think we may have to play with poop, or search vomit to see if they threw up something they swallowed, but it happens. YT members are passionate and dedicated to the breed, they are concerned about your baby, my baby, all babies. When someone comes to the YT family with a sick or injured pup, all get involved, give advise, tips, suggestions. even if it's just "take the pup to the vet". There are no vets on this forum, just many members that have had many experience's with different types of illnesses, but no one can diagnose what can / may be wrong with another members pup. A vet that can actually see the pup is your only help for a cure. When a member comes on YT with a sick pup we all worry about that baby, these babies can go down fast and immediate action must be taken by it's owner. There are many Aunties on YT that worry over all babies, and because for the LOVE of animals unselfishly share with us their experience, offer advise, suggestions and "beg" for pup to be taken to a vet or ER. Love of the yorkie breed and all dogs is what this forum is all about. I have been praying for lil beautiful Mia to pass what ever was seen on that xray, and for her not to get injured with it's passing. I am very happy to read that she is getting back to her happy lil self, but please watch her closely over the next several weeks to ensure she is 100% back to normal.
