| Bald patch..... Need advice,Discovered a bald patch on Sophies side???looked online for photos but this have no red or inflamed,or crust just bald???maybe the buddy belt shaving????maybe left in on to long at times????? |

| Could it be from a rabies shot? That does happen sometimes....usually round, about the size of a nickel - quarter. Picture??

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Could be from a shot, like ladyjane said. Could also be from ringworm - does the area look darkened at all or funny, or is it just completely bald?

| update.....patch I took Sophie to the vet,she did a scraping of the spot and it came back negative....could not find a reason????hate thatso after 130.00 here in Canada cant tell me why???? I checked the buddy belt as well in case it was shaving on that spot..not even close to that spot...so no answer....lol |

| Just a thought - does there happen to be a 'matching one' on her other side? Not with Harry (because he's a boy!!! ) but with Rosie our Labrador....a small patch used to appear on her side/towards her hips at the times of year when she would have been in season (if she hadn't been spayed). Sounds a bit nuts - but for her I think it was a hormonal thing....
