| Piccolo jumped from couch and slipped a disk in his back As we are still trying to recover from Piper Girls extensive vet bills. Our Piccolo apparently jumped from the couch wrong and slipped a disk in his back Saturday evening. (at this time I was not sure what was wrong with him. he was able to walk and was crying from pain) Took him to the vet first thing Sunday morning, he was not better and was wimpering. Xrays showed the slipped disk. He is on muscle relaxers and steroids. Linda as always was there for me. She has her hands full with little Timmy right now. So, has anyone else had this happen to their baby? If so, what were your outcomes?piccolo15small.jpg

| Oh I am so sorry. Buster has had issues with injuring his front leg when jumping down but not a slipped disc...poor Piccolo sending prayers for a speedy recovery.

| So sorry Piccolo is injured, and I hope he gets through this ok. Sorry I don't have any advice or experience with this, but I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | My Wylie has some disc disease in a few spots. He has only had 2 "episodes" so far, and both were readily resolved by using steroids, muscle relaxant, and a pain med. I hope your baby will soon feel better.

| oh no sending many well wishes for him to heal up asap. seeing my husband in pain from this in human form I can only imagine how much harder it is with a lil guy who cannot tell you what is going on or how he is feeling.

| Poor Piccolo. I hope he is feeling better. Max injured his back jumping at the gate, although did not slip a disk. It's scary when this happens.

| Piccolo went for checkup yesterday. He is doing alot better. He still has some pain and will have to stay kenneled for a couple more weeks. But, no surgery is needed.
