YT Addict | Torn ACL? So the vet says it's not her luxating patella that is causing her limping but actually she has a torn ACL. If you have read my other post you'd already know but I will put this out there for newcomers. Currently, I was declined by CareCredit. I don't know why, maybe it's because I am making TOO little money? But either way, it puts me out for surgical options... I don't know what else there really is to do, she's on anti-inflammatories and pain med as a conservative measure but in 2 weeks we go back in to discuss further options, if there are any for me... I don't really know what to do or say. I'm at a loss because the more I read about the cruciate ligament issue the more depressed I get because it's obvious that she will need surgery to fix the ACL and probably LP while they're at it.. But I just don't have $2500. I might could do payment plan but the certified surgeon nearest me does no payment plan, just major credit cards and CareCredit only. What could I do?? I've searched before, high and low, for some sort of help. It was a bit easier in Florida since rescues and help was so common but here in GA it doesn't seem that there is much hope for me. *cries* That's about all I can do these days.

| I'm sorry. Yes, it's true that if it is a torn CCL it will need surgery. Can you borrow from friends or family?

Unfortunately I'm not close to other family and my dad isn't in any better situation although I don't know if he'd even help if I asked, he would say it's just a stupid animal but to me she's worth $1,000,000,000.00 but I just don't have it to give. If I could give her my leg to replace her ouchie one I would!
