| Our baby Jackson Littlebit going for surgery AM dental Our 11 month old 5 pound little guy has to haveee surgery to remove baby teeth. Nervous due to first time surgery antnestisi. He is healthy according to blood work and heart is strong. Just nervous about this procedure. Anyone else have to have this type of surgery for their fur baby? He's just so little and so young. I'm praying all will go well.

| Is he being neutered at the same time? That is when retained baby teeth are usually pulled, that way they just have to be put to sleep the one time. I'm glad you had preop blood work done, and as long at the vet performing the procedure is well experienced with tiny babies such as yours, it should be fine. Everyone is understandably nervous when their dog is having anesthesia, since there is no guarantee that something won't go wrong, but that is why you weigh the benefit against the possible risks. I hope everything goes well & post an update when he is done to let us know how he did! One of my very favorite stories on YT is this one, about a dental procedure. I hope it helps! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...melt-down.html

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Galen had his teeth, a microchip and was neutered at the same time. My little guy had 17 puppy teeth pulled. He really did not want to let go of those teeth

| Jackson did really well with his surgery. Baby teeth pulled and his molars came in abnormal but he should be fine. Little guy just wasn't blessed with the right teeth for his generation of Champions but that's OK with us we aren't showing him he's just our little boy. These little ones are pretty strong and tough
