| Bailey Hello friends. Hope those of you in the States have a great Thanksgiving weekend. As I type, Bailey is at the vet connected to an IV. He started throwing up yesterday and then seemed to be ok last evening. This morning when I was out, Natalie said he threw up all over his bed, on the floor and on the carpet. She rushed him to the vet. He threw up an additional 4 times in the car. Mostly dry heaves. He seemed ok when I left this morning, but apparently not. I have noticed he sleeps all the time, but I just figured that's what he did. And before I left we had some round house fun like we always do and he seemed frisky. In any event, the main tests have come back fine and they sent some more off to the lab. I have no earthly idea what happened to him. Does any of this ring a bell to any of you? He'll be connected to an IV until later this afternoon. I hate this and can only hope it's nothing serious. I feel so sorry for the little guy!!!! |

| Oh no, I am so sorry that Bailey isn't feeling well. Is it possible he ate something while outside?? Sending prayers and good vibes that Bailey starts feeling better soon.

| Thanks for the kind thoughts. We were able to pick Bailey up at the vet around 4pm. The doctor left the IV in his leg taped up just in case we needed to bring him back. Even though it's Thanksgiving, he is going to meet us tomorrow to remove the IV. Bailey seems to be better. We went over to our son and daughter in laws for dinner. Bailey went with us. He faired well. Now we are home and per doctors orders gave him a half cup of cottage cheese. He wolfed it down. I still think he's not 100%, but he's come a long way. Not sure what happened, but he must eaten something he's shouldn't have. Phew. What a day. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Glad to read that Bailey is better. Praying he continues to get past whatever was making him sick. It's also good to see a fellow Memphian here. Actually, I'm just up the road in Tipton County. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

YT 2000 Club Member | dog So glad Bailey is better. My Spud likes to nip at a plant outside on our walks. I have to really watch him. My JoJo threw up bile this am but is ok. I guess Yorkies get into things they shouldn't. Hopefully it isn't his food. Make sure his food is quality dog food. I am glad he is feeling better. |

| Good morning everyone and Happy Thanksgiving. The doctor decided to leave the IV in and this morning Bailey decided it was time to come out. He undid the bandage, yanked out the plastic part of the IV and left it sitting on the comforter. I looked at the blanket and saw it laying there along with blood stains. Yuck! We were meeting the doctor at 10am anyway, so we called early and he met us as the clinic. He removed the rest of the IV, cleaned the area, put on a pretty yellow bandage, and away we went. Bailey seems to be much more like himself, but I still say he's a bit lethargic. Later today when family comes over, we'll see how he fairs. Thanks to all for your well wishes. MomtoJasper, yes been to Munford. Nice town and the high school has an awesome band! Cheers! |
