| Umbilical hernia as an adult? Anybody ever dealt with this? I think Ellie has one. Find out tomorrow. It would be adult onset which isn't common.

| I have never had an adult get a hernia. I have had puppies that had what I thought was a hernia but it turned out to just be trapped fatty tissue. Has Ellie had any problems with constipation or done anything that would of caused her to strain lately?

| Thanks everyone. Vet agrees it is probably a hernia. It hasn't popped out for me since last night and wouldn't for the vet. The hole is palpable though. Anway, since it is small and won't come out for her she doesn't want to fix it right now. If it gets red or comes out and I can't reduce it we will fix it.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Has Ellie put on any weight recently? Weight gain and/or straining can exacerbate a diastasis recti.

| Happy to hear she did not need surgery today, and praying it won't cause her problems in the future.

It hasn't popped out since the other night that I know of. Still feel the yucky hole though.
