| Poor Oliver Last April Oliver had cataract surgery. The vet at that time said he had another cataract on the other eye but it was very small. All of a sudden it bloomed out and we are planning on a second surgery. The problem is he has kind of a liver problem that flares up every so often. When we took him for screening we discovered his liver values were up a little high but he also had a Uti. He was put on antibiotics and liver meds for two weeks and we brought him back for a restest this past Saturday and we are waiting for the results. I feel so bad for him because he is just a doll and in his short almost three years he has gone through so much. We've been trying to get him neutered but so far we've been unable to do it because of his medical problems. I look at him and I want to cry. I know he is almost blind in one eye because of the cataract but he tries so hard to play and have fun with the other dogs . Please pray that his test comes back good so we can get his eye taken care of and maybe finally get him neutered. |

| Hot Rod's Home!! He's home, he's home! I'm so glad my baby is home! It was a little rough in the car. I shifted my arm and must have bumped his little leg cause he cried out and was so moany, it was awful. I finally was able to get him calm but he was breathing hard and was shaking. Thankfully we were almost home by them. This time, he has staples instead of stitches. I got a little queasy when I saw them as I didn't expect this. Hopefully this will help him heal quicker and better. It just looks so awful. Little Miss Maggie must have know here brother was home cause I came in first while hubby too him to potty. Well, she sniffed me up one side and down the other. lol She couldn't stop sniffing my all over. Well, when he came in, she headed straight for him and gave him a good sniff over while hubby was holding him. lol I'm just so relieved that he's home. Phew. I don't know if you can see the staples or not but they are definitely there. I don't know why my picture of him in his crate is sideways. I couldn't figure out to right it.
