| Prayers needed - vomitting Teddy is 2 and a half years old. Yesterday I was walking him when I noticed he always chewed on grass. He didn't eat anything yesterday and when we tried giving him nutri plus he threw up kind of yellowish liquid. He is still alert, but not eating. I kept an eye on him in the night, but he did fine. But this morning he threw up again. He also pooped in my room (something he'd never do normally). His stool looks good, no diarrhea yet. I was recommended to keep him hydrated, but he doesnt drink water. How do I get him to drink some??? Any suggestion?? Please keep him in your prayers. |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Get an eye dropper and put water in his cheek. I would be it is his food that is making him throw up. Please check out his food. I had to take my Spud in for that same stuff and he had antibiotics and ID diet food. These Yorkies are so fragile do not wait, get him to the vet. I would just to be safe. |

| The yellow bile that he threw up could be from his stomach being empty since he didn't eat anything all day (except the grass). Is this the first time he has refused food or does he do this regularly? The Nutri Plus has to be followed up with at least a little food/protein or it is ineffective preventing hypoglycemia. If he shows signs of dehydration and lethargy, see a vet right away.

| It seems it was an upset tummy. He didn't eat anything this morning, but after some meds he seems much better. He drank some water, had a bit of nutri plus and started begging for some food. I gave him some boiled chickeb breast and he ate it all. Thank you so much. This forum is like a church to me. I don't want to spam this forum, but whenever he's not up his best, I come here and he starts feeling better. |
