| Another surgery - 5 weeks later Buster will have surgery on his knee AGAIN tomorrow, five weeks after the last surgery to fix his knee. He started limping Tuesday night and today I took him to his vet to have the knee x-rayed. The pin that was put in five weeks ago broke. He hasn't been jumping, running or doing anything that wod cause it to break. We are familiar with how the recovery is supposed to be. He has an appointment at GCVS for surgery tomorrow. If you count the surgery to remove the plate and pins from his torn ACL surgery, this will be his fifth surgery on the same knee. Please say a prayer for my little boy.

| I pray this will be the last surgery on Buster. Poor guy has been through so much already. Praying all goes extremely well and he has a quick uneventful recovery.

| Jeanie, I am sorry Buster and you have to go through this. Your poor baby boy. Glad he has a great mom looking after him and that you have access to great doctors in your area. Buster and you are in my prayers.

| The first procedure was TPLO and the surgeon tried to fix the LP at the same time. The LP surgery had to be redone four weeks later. A few months later the hardware for the repair of the TPLO was removed (minor, but the poor baby had his knee cut on just the same). Five weeks ago a Tibial Tuberosity was done, that is the pin that broke. Tomorrow the pin will be replaced. I'm sure he's wondering if he will ever get to be a dog.

| I just re read your post...Jeanie are you sure the pin is broken? You said your vet said this? Did Dr. Beale see it? If he has not done any running or jumping, I cannot comprehend how a pin could break. So hoping it is not broken. He has definitely been through enough. .. as have you.
