| I think Momo got stung by a bee! He just threw up, gave him some benedryl...calling vet & I'm on hold. We went for a walk & my mom was walking mimi & momo, so idk what happened but he wasn't using his rear left leg. Got home & checked his paw & on top, between his toes, ther's a red bump. He's VERY uncomfortable & trying to lick it...still on hold! going to vet now, please pray for momo!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Check where the bump is. There might be a stinger in it if it was a bee. The stinger is barbed and usually stays in. If not it was probably a yellow jacket. Honey bees are not aggressive. Yellow jackets are nasty. Benadryl in good to help with the swelling. How is Momo doing?

| Praying for Momo! I know how scary this is for you. Mandie was stung twice at the same time last year. I was so scared. The vet will get Momo all fixed up. I promise. Hang in there!

| We're back from the vet, Momo is ok, Thank you! It appears that he did get stung by something (right rear paw) but no stinger was found so not sure by what. He might have licked it off or something...he's walking & acting normal now. He got a benedryl shot & a steroid shot. Now I need to drop by target & get some benedryl pills bc he hates the cherry flavored children's liquid version. He scared me so bad bc @ home, he was shaking his leg, kept trying to lick it, not putting weight on the right hind leg, acting drowsy (couldn't be from the 1ml of liquid benedryl bc he's 5#'s & he needs 5mg/ 2.4ml), throwing up white foamy liquid & a lot of it...I thought he was going into anaphylactic shock. The bugger was alert & attentive @ the vet, trying to smell other dogs & wagging his tail. loll Vet said he could've been in shock from the insect sting & the yucky taste of the benedryl made him throw up.

| Poor little Momo. I hope he feels better soon. I'm sure you are so relieved that he was checked out by the vet. There is nothing like having peace of mind, and it's so worth the cost of vet care to be sure in cases like these. I hope the rest of your weekend is peaceful and joyful.

| Very frightening, Jenny! I am relieved to hear Momo is okay. Sending kisses and hugs to your little guy. I am so scared of bee/insect stings after what Crystal went through with Ellie May going into shock.

| Bless his heart! I'm so happy to read that he's going to be ok, though. I spent my entire summer last year trying to rid the yard of "in ground" hives. This year, it seems we don't have the same problem. Praying for Momo's continued healing. Give him hugs and kisses from me and Mandie.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I am so glad that Momo is ok. Getting stung is no fun. My DBF is a bee keeper and the ones he hates the most is the hornets. Their stingers go through the bee suits
