| Animal Abuse @ Emergency Pet Hospital of Orlando FYI- to those who live or vacation with pets in Orlando. It's so sad. Authorities are now investigating Emergency Pet Hospital of Orlando for possible animal abuse after getting video that shows an employee slamming a dog against a wall by its leash. | This is very upsetting for so many reasons. Terrible violation of trust, in addition to horrible abuse.

| The video said the dog bit other workers before the manager did that. Why didn't they have the owner step back to help control it? There were so many other options... it's just sad this happened at a place where humans and animals should feel safe!

| I am shocked that the vet is supportive of the worker!! OMG... ok..I can see reacting to a dog biting me, maybe pushing away and it looking like being thrown..but 4 times???? no way in h*** that is pure abuse!! There are so many ways to handle.. the dog was scared and he had a right to be scared. I hope they shut the place down.

| Absolutely no *%&*$#%%$%$%, %%$&*****ing excuse, not one iota...someone should have been helping to muzzle a biting dog...never mind the size of the pup. I think that any of you who live there should organize a silent picket, its legal, signs and walk up and down the sidewalk...this is 100% unacceptable, the place should be shut down...or every single person on duty that night fired....

| That dog should of been muzzled and reassured. Not thrown against a wall, she should lose her job.

| I'm not only appalled at the abuse, but more appalled at the attitude of the vet. Does this vet even like animals? His statement showed absolutely NO compassion for the dog, and he didn't even fire her. He should NOT be a vet, and his manager should be out of a job. This is probably just the tip of the iceberg at this place.

| Wow, I cannot imagine... What would cause someone to think that's okay, AND for the vet to stand behind his worker? This just makes me even more nervous about leaving my pups with strangers. I already don't take them to a groomer because I've heard horror stories, but the emergency vet? Dogs aren't there because they are well! That poor dog...

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | It wasn't easy to watch Priscilla but it was not as bad as others I have seen. Still horrifying and brings tears to my eyes replaying that image in my head. If that were my dog all Hell would be breaking loose. I would insist that that women be fired or a boycott of the facility would be blast on every media avenue I could think of. This happened over a year ago and she is still working there. This it simply unacceptable in any situation !!

| OMG !!!! I'm sorry but that B!OTCH NEEDS to be fired & The vet SHUT DOWN for even sticking up for her. I can't even imagine treating a dog in such a way, EVER !!! I was a vet tech & there are plenty of other ways to handle a scared animal but beating them against the wall IS NOT one of them. I hope the dogs owner sued & won. A biting dog is always a risk that comes along with the job & believe me when I tell you that I have had my share of bites from dogs & cats & hitting or abusing them was the furthest thing from my mind. This story NEEDS to be shared on EVERY facebook page in America so that people can know to stay far away from that place. OMG my blood is boiling rite now, UGH !!!! AND, I WILL be calling & speaking with that POS ! and again That's it, I need a pill or somethingand again OMG !!!Fuming over here We ALL need to bring this story OUT AGAIN. These people are sitting around rite now feeling like it's all in the past & WE NEED to bring it back to the present. |
