| Jess's newest xray.. I had jess spayed today and a dental. All went great, but she lloks so sad poor thing. Anyway I asked the vet to do an xray of her leg while she was under.. xray one is the original break xray 2 is 12 weeks give or take post surgery... My Vet said it is amazing how well she has healed and the surgeon did a great job.. The surgeon thought the ulna (the bone without a plate) would never heal...It did!! yay! happy dance.. her main bone wont be completely healed for 6 months but its almost there..Anyone ever need a great surgeon in southern VA let me know.. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Glad Jess did well through her surgery and that her leg is healing nicely! I just cant even begin to imagine operating on bones so small. Its a miracle what can be done today.

| Yes, it was a bad break and vet #1 made it worse by placing a cast on it for five weeks..(they are no longer my vet) it got worse! So they wanted to amputate I almost fainted and said "not an option pick something else" so they said "well, you can have surgery but I don't know it will work and its real expensive" uh gee don't u think that was my decision to make? So the only good thing they did was refer me to Dr. Stallings at the cove. He said he could do it but even he was surprised at how much she healed!! I had another vet look at the original xrays and wanted me to report my first vet! She woke up this morning after her spay and walked all the way across the house to pee on her pad! |

| Your poor little girl! I'm so sorry you both had to go through that. That is amazing how the plate helped her. I wish you nothing but love, health, joy, and laughter from now on.

YT Addict | Poor Jess, that's a lot of pins in that plate. You must've been frantic when that happened. I know I'd be inconsolable. So good to hear she's doing well now. I followed your profile link to her pictures...my goodness but she's a wee thing! And so cute with that haircut! How old is she?
