And isn't it so like a Yorkie to have squirreled away some goodies and know exactly where they are since his mommie decided to starve him to death two hours after his dinner!!!!!!

| And this is one of the many reasons why I love Tibbe so much. I feel so bad that your worrying still remains, but I'm so trilled to hear that Tibbe has begun his dog laughs once again.

| What a smart little guy to prepare for emergencies that his mom causes him. I'm sure you will be relieved with great results when the test is over. Keeping you both I'm my thoughts and prayers! |

| He hasn't had a good night. Scratching a lot and restless. Cannot settle to sleep - he's been up and down 50 times since about 8:00 p.m. - seems quite hyper. I'm about to get desperate and give him some Benadryl. If I can't sleep tonight, I can't get him to his appt. tomorrow - without sleep I get too dizzy to drive and always have for some reason. He's lying in the window sill gnawing at his front feet right now. I wonder if it is all the junk in that Hill's I/D Low Fat - the corn meal and things like that that is itching him and the histamine making him hyper. Now he's scratching his belly again with his hind feet - just like he did on the Royal Canin GI last year. He started doing that a lot tonight. Now he's trying to jump down off the couch. Usually by this time, he's been asleep for hours but tonight he cannot settle. He's not clingy though and he's not acting nauseated or having loud tummy sounds etc like when his tummy is bad. His head is up and his ears pricked. It's pretty awful to see him so miserable. And just a few hours ago he was fine and happy. Poor little thing.

| Aw! Poor Tibbe... have you ever tried homecooking for him... even just a bland diet for his upset times? Definitely sounds like an allergic reaction going on...

| Tibbe back at vet getting his BAT today. Thanks again, YT, for all of these words of support. It sure helps when going through such bad times. Tibbe is at the vet getting his BAT. We didn't have any problems with his finding kibble again last night as he just wasn't himself. He didn't really sleep all night - was too restless and he was scratching his tummy a lot with his find feet. About 11:45 pm, I gave up and though I was scared, gave him 1/4 teaspoon of Children's Benadryl. It put him to sleep for about an hour and then he woke and was more hyper than ever! To get him to stay in one place, I had to put him in his airline carrier in a chair next to the bed, propped the front of it up with his little blanket to make it hard for him to keep popping up and finally he settled down a bit. But I couldn't sleep a wink and every time I looked in his carrier door, his eyes were open. He would whine or try to stand about every 15 mins. all night. We just had a terrible night. We were both to tired this morning, we just dragged into the vet but Tibbe did get happy once they started taking him back. Then, I could hear him barking his face off trying to get noticed. It was his "look at me!" bark and I know it so well. But I could hear it all the way out the front door!!! Poor vets and vet techs! Oh, I just found out they have to send the test off so it will be tonight or tomorrow I think she said before they get the results and can call me. So, eating is pretty much out. I stopped for chocolate-covered donuts on the way back from the vet - was so hungry I thought - ate 3 bites and put it back for later. Can't eat or even digest food.

| These babies will kill us, wont they??! It is sheer torture to see them as miserable as poor little Tibbe was last night....and you having to jump thru hoops, trying desperately to get him relief and calm enough for both of you to get some sleep. I could really "feel your pain" as you did this, then did that, then checked continually....been there, done that.....you survived last night, and at least you are almost finished with this next part! Then we wait for the results...but Tibbe will be home soon! Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 04-30-2013 at 07:45 AM. |

| I so want to do something to help you, but don't know what it could be, so I will keep, offering up prayers and sending you the "be strong" vibes. I could not sleep or eat the days Cali was T the vets with her little tummy problem, so I know how exhausted you can get. Keep the faith and keep, counting you blessings!

| The wait is now so difficult, and I know how beat up and scared you must feel. I can feel your love in every written word, and I can't wait for the day that you can rest easily. You and Tibbe are so lucky to have each other. I hope you are resting and that you feel better soon.
