| My sisters dog gets reverse sneezing and she rubs his trachea lightly to help stop it. Can't remember what she says causes it but that's what she does when he starts. I would still check with your vet though. |

| I would take him into the vet because I think if the noise is a honking noise, it may be collapsing trachea. I've recently been studying the differences between that and reverse sneezing because my niece's Chi makes a weird noise when he gets excited/playing. He doesn't honk though so I think his is the reverse sneezing.

| Momo reverse sneezes all the time. He'll recover on his own, but if it last long, I cover his nose & it'll stop. It makes him swallow & the spasm in his throat will stop. If he does it often, I will check inside his mouth & sometimes my long hair will be stuck in there & I have to pull it out. He loves playing w/his ball & sometimes my hair will get stuck on it...I'm always cleaning my floor! It also helps if you could get it on video & show your vet. Hope it's nothing serious.

| Peanut reverse sneezes a lot as well- it seems if he drinks water too fast or if he gets super excited. I will kneel down put one hand on his bum to hold him still and take my other hand and rub his throat up and down. I will also talk to him to try to relax him. It helps a lot it will normally calm him down instantly.

| I thought Callie was reverse sneezing and it actually ended up being collapsing trachea so I would let your vet check out your dog.
