| Prayers needed please Hello All....My dog named Braxton needs prayer. He was neutered on monday and has been sick and weak for the last 4 days. The vet's and animal hospital says that he is fine and to "wait it out" He has been weak, imbalanced, and the vet even said his bile acid levels may indicate MVD (at 51 post eating) They gave him canned high protein fatty food (which i don't really want him to have) in an attempt to bring his weight up. Ive been to 3 vets and they seem to take my pleas for help very lightly. I'm sending this request up to God and would like for you all to be in agreement in prayer that my dog is healed and recovering. He hasnt been drinking...but had a healthy appetite until now. |

| There is a specialty vet hospital in Metarie. We have used them for our foster pups and they have been really good! The name is: Southeast Veterinary Specialists Southeast Veterinary Specialists Of course, you could also go to LSU in BR. Good luck. I will keep you and Braxton in my thoughts and prayers.

| Braxton Poor baby, so sorry he is feeling bad. Were the pre-operative tests normal, with no abnormal liver function numbers? When did they do tests that showed it may be MVD? It is amazing that 3 vets are not concerned about this. I know when my dog had eye surgery and he was sick afterwards, the eye specialist was not worried and said it was just the meds. After a week, on a recheck visit he threw up on the doc's floor and then she took notice!!! He saw an internist there who said he had gastritis and possible an ulcer from reflux during surgery!!! After treatment his stomach was better, but had the vet taken earlier notice, the situation would not have become so bad. If he is eating, that is good news, but he needs to drink too. Although if the food is canned he may get enough water from that. Praying for a quick resolution of this and a speedy return to his normal happy self. |

| If he is still sick, why don't you get him into your state's veterinary school, since 3 vets haven't helped him. Look it up online, call them and see what you need to do to get him seen there ASAP. God bless this little one and I will sure be praying for him. Poor little guy.
