Donating YT 30K Club Member | I was feeding California Natural Lamb and Rice canned and kibble. I recently switched them to Weruva canned and the CN kibble. They are crazy for the Weruva. Roxie loves to eat.

| Hope the meds work for Roxie...hoping & praying it's not any sort of liver issue. Mine are eating Weruva too & they love it!

Just had a thought...would you say Roxie is very 'smushed faced', like Marcel? In other words - Marcel has a very short muzzle, so he really has that more compact face -- and I've often thought that this type of face is really such an ideal set up for reflux issues, ya know? Wondering if you've thought that too...

Senior Yorkie Talker | Acid reflux My Dallas is having problems with that also. He has had test to see if its any else . Came back normal. Still get worried and hope it won't lead to anything serious. He is on Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Dry , pepcid, probiotic. Still throws up not as often did today. I just wish it would stop completely. Vet says he has sensitive tummy and as long as its not as often as before. I an still worried. After he runs around and is fine . If anyone finds anymore info let me know. Hope all your babies stay healthy. |

| Good point. There could be something else going on causing the vomiting besides/in addition to the acid reflux. Bile acid testing is done to check for liver and gallbladder problems. See https://www.vetinfo.com/dog-bile-acid-testing.html

| make sure it was bile acids....some vets just check liver enzymes and think that if they are not elevated they are fine. It is not always the case!
