| Welcome to YT. I am not sure about this but hopefully someone here will be able to tell you some advice. My advice would be to contact your vet and let them check the puppy out. Again welcome!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome. I agree have your vet check him out. Some puppies get worms and need to be treated.

| Sounds like worms. Has he been de wormed yet? That's going to be gross watching the live worms moving around. That's what it sounds like and its a pretty easy fix, but you need to go to the vet quickly because they are sucking your pups nutrients away and I am sure he is little so not much to spare for the worms. Is he from a breeder?

| A swollen belly can indicate MANY conditions some serious and some not...please DO NOT attempt to deworm your dog with over the counter meds without the supervision of a VET. Thanks.

| If you don't think it's just a full belly, call your vet as soon as possible. If one is not around or available right now, you might want to contact an emergency vet in your area. Good luck and please keep us posted on what is happening. Oh yes, welcome to YT!

De worming MUST be done by the vet....you can kill your baby with over the counter worming medication...too risky....dont try it! And it may not even be worms. Baby needs to be evaluated by your vet! | |
