| Another Adonis update 1-30-13 This one is a much better update. After someone dropped the ball on his blood work done 1-5-13, I made an appointment with the Holistic vet at the ER I went to last month. I took all 3 blood works in, and had extensive talk with her. He's now being treated for infection with antibiodics for the bladder, more urine tests (to make sure that is the right anti for his infection). She also did some Chiopractic (sp) on his back! She wants to do that again one time a week, for the next 3 weeks. So there IS something that can be done about that nerve that is making him fall! And her fee is only $50, a far cry from what Auburn wanted to do that neurological panel! She put him on a different diet of Sojos (a packet I add meat and water to). I know that has to be much better for him than what I'd been feeding! Come to find out, the natural balance ultra light is 2.5 stars! So I have hope NOW! I'd called my vets office and asked them to get him to look at the urine, and call me back. Ok, damn near 4pm, and no call, LOL. Last months senior panel, the company that did it, requested urine, and NOBODY CALLED ME to request urine. So needless to say, I'm VERY PO'D with his office, and they won't be going back there! Thanks so much for ALL the support here. I have hope today, that I didn't have last night. I'd certainly recommend Holistic vets to anyone that has older dog with some problems! Especially neurological. Suppose its a wait and see if it work, and keep praying and fingers crossed. |

| I would just like to make one suggestion because I have experience with the chiropractic adjustments and it ended up being a serious spine issue. Which the chiropractic adjustment could have killed him I think you should get an x-ray just to confirm its not something serious. Again I only say that because of my experience. I hope the current treatment helps sweet Adonis.

| On BW, the company offer requests it on every bundle bw. Most vets either do it in office and dont send it off b/c they want you to pay for it first. I agree with the xray.

| Glad to hear the encouraging news! I'm hoping for continued improvement with the holistic vet. I have "dumped" many a vet for reasons like not being thorough enough, or even for just not liking their attitude towards my dog. I'd definitely move on from this one. I want to feel a connection with a vet that they are competent and doing everything they can in the best interest of my dog. |

| I'm so glad Adonis is doing well. But for me, I prefer to know the answer to what the problem is rather than just finding a solution to the unknown. I still think you should take him to a neurologist.
