| Potty trained but just left a 5 ft trail of pee He has never done that before... It's like he just started peeing and decided to run in a circle around our livingroom and into the kitchen... Not sure if I should think this is a warning sign of something wrong or what??

| You could be right... or was he just too distracted to take the time to finish peeing? I guess if anything weird continues with his behavior, I'd have the vet take a look, or if you have a good relationship with your vet you could call and ask him/her. If you don't have a good relationship with your vet, they'll tell you to bring him in to be seen.

| We collected some of the pee and hubby is dropping it off in the morning. Lucky for us back when he used to restore old cars and do custom paint he built cars for the vet so we have brownie points.

| Let us know what they say. My first thought is maybe the peeing is hurting him so he was trying to walk away from it...like a UTI or something.

| Is Guinness neutered? I imagine he is so getting that urine into the vet is good. Plus, I'd let him check him over even if the urine is okay if even one other thing showed up that seems out of place or odd. This could just be a one-off - they are animals, after all, so they do many things we can never understand or explain. But if anything else pops up, I'd run him into the vet for a looksee. Something else could be bothering him. Tibbe occasionally does odd things I can't figure out but as long as they are not connected up to anything else, I just furrow my brow and go on as long as all else is normal.

| haven't thought twice about the incident since he has not done it again, but the vet just called and asked us to drop him off in the morning for more testing because they found crystals in his urine.

| Oh bless his heart. It's probably a UTI and you caught it quick. I'm glad he hasn't been showing any other distress though. That's a plus!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | So how is Guinness doing? Did the vet figure out what is wrong?
