| Something wrong with Mia I take care of a lady who has a yorkie. Within the last month or so, she has been experencing massive hairloss over the body and now her back legs give out when she tries to walk. Her right front leg also gives out and folds under her body. She was a rescue puppy from a puppy mill and we don't know a lot of her history. Anybody have any ideas that might b able to help us figure out what has caused this? |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Large amounts of hair loss and legs going out are signs of very serious health problems. I highly recommend getting the dog to a vet as soon as possible. How old is the dog? Is the dog underweight, have difficulty eating, and appear tired? Could be neurological problems caused by any one of a number of serious conditions.

| Welcome to YT...This poor unfortunate pup is experiencing symptoms that can be the result of a number of health problems, all of which need the attention of a vet, ASAP! Please let us know the outcome of this. If for whatever reason, the owner can not afford to provide the medical care this pup needs, perhaps you can gently try to persuade her to give the pup up to a rescue center than can provide the care this pup needs in order to survive. | I agree with what the others have said... This poor pup needs to get to the vet and fast! Please, if you cannot afford vet care... Find a rescue that you can surrender her to She deserves to get the care she needs.
