| I am so sorry this has happened to your pup. I'm glad to see you were able to get him the help he needed as soon as you did. These products do have some nasty side effects. It can effect a pet neurologically among other terrible reactions. Some pets are effected worse than others. If you google "Advantix warniing" you will see you are not the only one this has happened to. This needs to be reported as soon as possible. This is the only way these companies can track the adverse reactions. Reporting Pesticide Incidents This is a wonderful site to get valuable info..... Pesticides, Flea Meds, Heartworm Meds and Dog Health | Truth4Dogs I hope your little one is feeling better soon.

Yorkie Talker | Thank you for the link and the well wishes I feel awful that I didn't research this before applying it. I trusted my vet and never once thought any of this would happen. Hoping he will make a full recovery and be home soon. My home is so empty without him |

| I'm so sorry. I spray my lab and Ted with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water...four years no fleas. I only do it in the hot weather. I had read horror stories of flea products; so I tried this, and it works for us. I hope your baby is better fast xo |

| I am sooo sorry for this reaction. A friend of mines Yorkie had just as bad a reaction to it. I just Frontline Plus on Riley the last day of each month and I use Heartgard Plus around the middle of the month. I hope he never has a reaction to either..... I hope your baby is feeling better, soon!! |

| cedric does this and i cannot give him any flea/tick meds that are toxic. i hope your baby is doing better and im sorry this happened. right now for a natural remedy im trying flea treats and lavender oil mixed with water as a spary. you have to spray everytime you go out which i usually forget so that is why im trying the flea treats which have mixed reviews but i cannot risk putting any of the popular flea/tick meds on my baby. prayers for you capone to get better real soon.

| My Yorkie can not tolerate any flea/tic medication. He runs around in circles to the point where he is panting so hard I'm afraid he won't be able to catch his breath. This lasts about an hour. My vet thought it was just behavioral. My husbands uncle is also a vet and said to take him out and walk him so that the behavior is re-directed. This did not work. He doesn't really go outside (he is trained on wee-wee pads) so i have stopped using the medication - no matter which brand. |
