| Undescended testicles question Scooter was neutered Tuesday and he is behaving as if nothing has happened. I am curious about the surgery when both testicles were undescended. Before surgery I could see a small bump on either side of his penis. The vet said that was were they were. He has no scrotum and is this because of where the testicles were located? Right now he has two small incisions on either side of his penis. He's on antibiotics but one incision is a bit red and a little swollen. I've never had a male dog before and this is all new to me. Does all this sound right?

when my oscar was nuetered one of his testicles was undescended and he came thru the surgery just fine. just keep an eye on the incisions and make sure the reddness and swelling is going away . if it looks like it is getting worse call your vet right away as it could be a mild infection. he should be fine | |

| I would call the vet and just tell him one of the incisions looks a little red and swollen, and ask if he wants you to maybe put a little antibiotic ointment on it, or even better, dab it with a little Iodine or Betadine....otherwise it all sounds like it went famously! |

| I would call the vet about the incision....it probably is nothing but better safe than sorry. Can you take a picture of it for the vet? Would save you a trip in...
