| HELP-- Lucy threw up! She ate A LOT yesterday and was acting fine all day but just threw up for the first time. My mom was holding her in the rocking chair and she was chewing on a blanket. couldthis have just bothered her gag reflex?? and what should i do? nutrical?

| If she ate a lot, that could be a reason for the throw up. Was there just white or yellow bile? Or did she throw up food? It could be a variety of reasons, most of the time it is nothing, but if you are very concerned, you can take hero to the vet or emergency room. |

| thanks for the reply....it was yellowish and thick, so i am guessing food. she seems to be fine now but i wasn't sure if i should give her nutrical since she wont be eating again until breakfast.

| Dogs throw up for lots of reasons but most times it's to get something offensive out of their stomach. Maybe she got into something that upset her? I don't think one barf is too worrisome but if she continues and acts sick take her to the vet. |
