| Dog Dizzy, then trots away? Sassy was JUST dizzy and she was walking sideways with one leg extending farther than the other. She was running it to things and when she tried to walk she would just fall over. 2 minutes later she trots over to my mom and gets a toy, acting like her normal self! Could she have just had a seizure? Thank you.

| A seizure is possible. How old is she ? There are a few things that could cause these symptoms in yorkies, Liver Shunt, AAI, Chiari, GME. Was she recently vaccinated ? If this happens again I would suggest going to the vet ASAP & the sooner you get her there during or after an episode the better , so that the vet can get a little clue as to where to start. Also if you could video tape the episode , it would help greatly. |

| I would definitely get her to a vet for an exam in the very near future even if it does not happen again. That is not a normal activity. Don't worry yourself about what it could be....too many possibilities and not all are dreadful. Please keep us posted. I hope all is ok.

| Yikes, she is 6 years old, I think she was given the 3 year rabies in October/November. So next time she does that again, take her to the vet asap?
