| Head Injury?? My 3 month old Yorkie and I were inside of PetsMart. I had my back turned and she jumped out of the basket. I turned around when I heard the loud thump. She was lying on the floor shaking and whimpering. She was confused when I stood her up and she staggered a little when she walked. I picked her up and she was licking her lips. When we got home I contacted the Emergency Vet and they said is she acting normal, does she have dilated eyes, is she still staggering? She ate some food and drank some water and ran around like normal. Its about 9:30 PM and she is sleeping. Should I take her to the vet now or wait till later??? Thanks for your help, Melissa |

| Er I would take her in for an xray. She may have a concussion..that was a nasty fall. I am surprised the ER vet did nto suggest you bring her in now. You do not want her to sleep with a possible head injury. Please let us know..I am concerned about her. |

| Oh, I'm sorry about your little one. Ya just can't turn your back on them. They have absolutely no concept of height at that age. If you set them on a table, they'd just try to walk right off of it, because they don't know any better. I hope you got lucky and your little one has no injuries. That would be a miracle at that height. Good luck and keep us updated.
