| Tummy issues Hannah is having tummy issues. Her tummy is gurgling and she is gassy. Her poop is almost solid. However, she is pooping at least three times or more daily. She is currently eating rice and chicken broth and merricks before grain chicken. What can I give her for her tummy? |

| You can give dogs OTC acid medication, I just don't remember how much! Call your vet and ask them over the phone.

| Has she been to the vet? It's hard to say what to do for her without knowing her past symptoms, etc. Gurgling and gas isn't really normal. Has she eaten anything recently (i.e. treats, people food, etc?) that could have upset her tummy? I would be calling your vet and telling them her symptoms. I've heard of people giving their dogs pepto bismol and pedialyte, but it's always important to ask your vet first. It could be something as simple as the food not agreeing with her, or something worse. Quite a few dogs have an intolerance to chicken.

| When Rosie has tummy issues like this it usually is because of her eating something she should not have. Since she has IBS, it usually is a trip to the vet. I agree with Britster, you really need to ask your vet before giving any type of medication. It sounds like the food you are giving her don't agree with her too well. But I would get her in to a vet to make sure that is what is causing her problems.
