| Wow! Tomorrow is the day. So, Brutus goes in tomorrow for his procedures at 7:30 am- neuter, micro-chip and baby teeth pulled. I will be missing him for sure. He got spoiled rotten today - had some turkey and got his bath plus extra extra love. I am trying to think how it was before he came into our lives - he is such a part of the family....... I need a plan to keep busy- not shopping so I will go to the gym and come home and clean like a maniac until I can go pick him up. Sorry, the concern for him is starting to set in. He has been sick in the past so he knows the car = trip to the vet. I am really dreading tomorrow.

| Aw don't worry I am sure he will be just fine! I was a nervous wreck when I brought Kaos in, all the way until I saw him that night. Try not to let Brutus sense your worry, or he will get upset as well. The vet made me drop him off and leave right away because I was making it harder on both of us.

| I was a nervous wreck too. I don't think I breathed the whole time he (and Daisy too) were gone. I'm sure everything will be fine but I know what you are going through. The breeder had Daisy's dew claws removed when she got her tail done and she can't hold on to things as well as Teddy does. She will bring her treats to us to hold for her so she can eat it because she can't get a good grip on it. I wish they hadn't removed her dew claws.

| I just called the vet and they said he is doing well and is starting to wake up. Sounds like everything went great and I can go get him at 3:00 pm.

| Well, holy cow- he doesn't even act like anyting has been done to him today. He was all his hyper self when we went to get him. Dr. said to wait 30 min before we fed him, we did.... and he just barfed - some food, some bile. He hadn't eaten in 22.5 hours, so maybe the bile is normal? I am giving him some time and will feed again about 8 to see how he does. I really was expecting a sleeper/letharic dog back and it is not the case at all. I am now worried how I am going to keep him on the "down low" for the next few days - suggestions?

| Glad he is feeling so good. I would just feed a little bit at a time.

| I have given Brutus 2 very small meals since he got sick and he has kept it down. Still acting pretty normal -EXCEPT for the fact that he has tried to hump my leg TWICE! He hasn't done this before and the day he has his balls removed is the day he starts???? Kinda weird - does he think he is less of a boy and is acting out?
