| Sick lil Mina I woke up at 3am to Mina turning circles on my bed. So I took her out. She pooed,THREWUP and peed. We made a trip to Canton (huge flea market) yesterday. She did not get near another dog, didnt touch the ground except to potty (rode strapped to me in a sling all day),not one thing went in her mouth that I wasnt aware of ( I took food for her and she was allowed a quarters size piece of pizza crust, not sauce,no cheese). She threw up 8 more time,so we went to the ER. Bloodwork showed two things at the high end of normal, everything else was perfect. The actual test for her pancreas was normal. The ONLY thing that I can come up with is a day to full of crowds, people, excitement. One of my children used to get sick everytime she spent the night away from home. She threw up the first night and then she was fine. Mina recieved sub fluids, vitamin Bcomplex and anti-nausia meds. No food until tonite. She is sleeping, didnt even want to greet her brother Skittles this morning, but I have seen her wag her tail. Guess I get to see how well our pet insurance works a little sooner than I thought. A little prayer and any ideas on a cause would be appreciated. |

| I will keep little Mina in my thoughts and prayers. What a good mom you are, taking her to the ER and THEN posting. Please keep us updated as to Mina's condition. How old is Mina and how much does she weigh? If she is still a young pup, it is entirely possible that too much excitement and not enough calories during her adventure yesterday was the start of her woes. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Hope Mina feels better soon and is back to her usual playful self. You're a great mom for taking her to the ER and not waiting. Sending prayers for all of you.

She has barked at people coming and going in my house today (always a revolving front door with 5 people living here and others coming and going). She is still sleeping alot, best for healing. The two other dogs that play with her here wont leave her. We will try a tsp of chic n rice in 3 or 4 hours if she seems hungry. It will of been more than 12hrs at that point. | |
