| Help??? I heard once that dogs are allergic to onions, and I think my chi might haave eaten some onion that was in some stuffin that fell on the floor, does anybody have any advice??

| If it is just a little bit I am sure she will be okay. If it was a large amount she could have a reaction to it.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I gace Cali stuffing with a little onion it on Thanksgiving and she is fine. I didn't know onions were bad for them. I learn something new every day on YT.

| Yes - onions are bad for dogs, but I don't think "cooked onions" are as bad. My little guy grabbed and ate several small pieces of onion when I was chopping them for my stuffing. I picked him up to be sure - and sure enough, he had onion breath. The thing that surprised me was that he "liked them." None of my dogs would ever eat onion. They didn't like it at all. Well - I stopped him from eating them (put him in the playpen until I was finished). And what he ate didn't hurt him at all. Got to watch them every minute, don't we????? Carol Jean PS - The only thing I have found that my dog doesn't like --- is dog food!!!!!! |
