| ceeby and the Vet ceeby seemed to be alright this morning except for not eating. I took him on in to the vet after he had diarreha once. He said his temperature is a little elevated and he might have tapeworms because he has fleas. (which we are treating). He has intestional virus. Thank God he is not dehydrated thanks to the pedialyte we have given him every hour since wednesday. He got a shot ofr tapeworms and a dose of antibotics and some for me to bring home. He also got a can if ID prescription food that is for intestional upsets. he still is not eating but he has been playful and active this morning. It is his regular nap time right now so he is sleeping in my lap. Thanks for the prayers. Oh, I almost forgot. Remember when I first got him and "bragged" that he would be tiny and upset some of you. LOL Not to worry, he weighed 2.6 at the vet. Looks like I amy just have myself a "teapot". Just goes to show you how inaccurated the growth charts are. At twelve weeks, he only weighed 1.7 which put him at under three pounds when grown. He is only four months old so I figure I am looking at a six or seven pounder at least. Maybe more. But that's alright. He is my baby even if he does become a teapot. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | So glad to hear this! That little stinker gave everyone a scare. I don't see him getting over 5 1/2 - 5 3/4 lbs. Best of luck to Ceeby!

| Oh, Ceeby...2.6 pounds!! I bet he was more than that before he got sick. I have a little leather collar Scout outgrew that I was going to send to him...it might not fit Ceeby too long either! I sure hope he gets better soon, I'm sure you are very nervous with him being sick so long. I know you are longing for normalcy. DO keep us updated. :-)

| he is nearly 100 percent well today. His little sweater still fits. can you believe how much he has grown? I am in shock. But on the way out of the vet I looked at the scale and already had .4 on it and i questioned the nurse and she said if it is against the wall (from big dogs scooting it) it doesn't read right. it is hard for me to believe. his little back still doesn't look like it is over two inches wide and you can feel every bone in his little body. thanks for the offer of the collar but he has one. Not that I can get it on him, of course. |
