| My biggest fear... As alot of you know, Gizmo was really, really sick on Friday. Vomiting and the runs. Not to get too descriptive, but it was like water that ran out of him and it happened more then once (I know I should have just taken him to the vet then and there I'm such a hypocrite). Anywho, he basically has not recovered. He's stool is formed and he isn't vomiting, but I'm noticing some bloating and he's some what lazy and just flat out refuses food. Even soft food, which he never does. It breaks my heart, because we just got him eating good from his whole tooth ordeal, and now this occurs. I'm going to the vet with him today, because I fear on Friday he had a bout of pancreatitis. I thought, not that it matters anymore, that he was just had a little bug, or the soft food I bought him was too rich. But with hindsight, and me doing some research, I fear it's something more then that. Especially, since he hasn't really eaten anything since then. Please say some prayers. I know my little dude hasn't quite recovered, and I just want him to feel better.

| Results for blood were elevated for the beginning of pancretitis. However, the vet said his counts were a little off to where a liver stunt should be tested for as well. Had to leave my baby there for them to do the bile acid test.

| Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this about Gizmo. Hope they can get him diagnosed and on a good treatment regimen and get him all better.

| Gizmo is now home with us. They gave us a can of Science Diet and he seems to like it. The blood results should come back about Tuesday. I've been praying and praying that it's not a shunt. When she ran the CPL test it came back negative, however, his...oh goodness I don't remember the name but it started with an "L" was a little high and she believes that it's an accute case or we just caught the beginning of it. So, that's good. We were also sent home with some anti-nausea meds to give him. He seems just like his normal self. Little worn out, brought out his favorite monkey blanket and he seems snug as a bug in a rug. Question for all you YTers out there. I'm going to be feeding him the canned food that the vet gave me, however they only gave me a little bit. Any suggestions for low and fat kibble I could get until I get a full diagnosis? I know us YT'ers are a strong community, so I'm asking you all for prayers with regards to Gizmo. I know the power of prayer, like healing with humans is strong. Thanks everyone, I hope to have better news.

| If you dont think that the food the vet gave you will last,I would consider going back and getting more. If it were me I wouldnt change ANYTHING until I had test results in hand and a plan to get baby better. I am so very sorry that your little one is ill. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayer. |
