| Mucus in Stool? I'll apologize first, as this is probably a really disgusting post! Miles has been having poop issues since Monday. I noticed a couple loose stools (still formed, but softer than usual, and laced with some mucus) on Monday/Tuesday. By Tuesday night, he had a bout of diarrhea, and then stools were back to normal on Wednesday. Wednesday night he had some solid stools, but they were very strange--they were really skinny (sorry, it's the only word I can think of to describe it...but they were long and thin like worms!) Yesterday he had some stools that were normal, and others that were a bit soft. Finally, today they are back to being really soft and covered in mucus. Gross. I cannot figure out what is going on. He eats the same food every day (no table food). He's acting fine, and eating/drinking normally. Any ideas??? I'm stumped on this one. Thanks! |

| My dog who has liver disease and IBD has these mucous poops when things aren't right. If it has been 5 days of this, it's time to see the vet for treatment.

| I agree. My dog's stool is similar at time and she has a list of things that are not going right in her abdomen. Vet time.
