| my yorkie was hit by a car! Today my yorkie was hit by a car. He has a nasty bump on his head I took him to the vet and they said he is lucky to still be here .... I guess I just need to talk and also need prayers ... I am going to take him back in the morning to be checked again. He could have brain damage ... Also I was looking at the sticky about getting help with the vet bill.... Do anyone have more info on that?

| Oh, he was blessed to be alive and I pray that this baby is uninjured. Did they do a lot of tests and skull films, etc.? I sure hope he will be okay but as they didn't send him on to a specialist for hospital care, he probably is going to be okay.

| I didn't go to the vet because I went to a water park. And wasn't there when the accident happened . My bro was there but I call the vet and they wanted to keep him over nite. But I couldn't afford it because the bill was already 600 . I'm am going to stay up all night and watch him they said to call if I have any questions

| Have you looked into care credit? It's allows you to make payments and it's very reasonable. I hope your little one makes it through this.

| Oh that poor little baby. I hope and pray he will be okay. Hope you find some help with the vet bill. Maybe if you have been going to the same vet for a long time they would let you pay it out. It being a head injury would really be a reason for concern. Praying for the healing of that baby. |

| I do hope that you have been approved for Care Credit and are now at the ER with your pup. Impact from a car to a little Yorkie - chances are quite high that there is extensive damage, possibly internal bleeding. It sounds like the dog's head was hit which would mean brain injury likely occurred. Death is very possible in a case like this, esp. because you don't know for sure what is going on in there. I'm very sorry, but sorry won't save your pup. Pup needs to see a vet right now.

| I pray your baby makes it through this without any brain damage. Did they at least send some pain med home for her? She has gotta have one huge headache.
