| A bad scare with Chachi Yesterday Chachi had gunk in his eye and was favoring his other one so we knew we had to take him to the vet. By this morning at 6 am his eye was completely white and we were scared to death he was going blind. Took him to vet and he put the dye in his eye to check him and let us see. Chachi has hole in his cornea. We have meds and ointment for him and hes going to see him again next Sat. He said he will recover completely. We are relieved

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Corneal ulcers do get worse very quickly, but usually heal very well. Hope chachi feels better soon.

| Eye troubles just scare me spitless! Don't blame you for being scared out of your mind. Hope the eye heals up quickly and all is okay with little Chachi!

| Me too we were so afraid he was blind in that eye. My Husband is a courier and he worked this morning and he was driving like a maniac so we could get him into vet first thing in morning

| So glad you didn't wait. You sound like me. See a problem - just get right to the vet and worry on the way. I cannot sit around for hours or days with a dog with a potential problem. Vet first thing.

| Wow thank goodness you saw it and got Chachi in fast. Teddy had corneal abrasions a few weeks ago and I was very lucky to catch it fast. We used triple ophthalmic ointment. My vet insisted on checking the eye in 2 days after starting the ointment to make sure it was healing. I hope it heals as fast as Teddy's did!

| We actually felt horrible because we noticed he had a problem last night and decided to call the vet in the morning and then this morning his eye went white and we thought he was blind in that eye

| Wow! Glad you caught it quickly, but I don't believe the vet gave vaccines with an injury going on.... JMHO... praying that his eye heals quickly...
