| Took Maxine to the Vet. Pancreatitis She started acting sluggish and not wanting to eat last night so we got her into the Vet today. Blood test revealed a slight case of Pancreatitis so she is now on Medication and a Bland Diet. Glad we got her in as she has had 2 previous major bouts of it. Took forever just to drive the 6 miles as we had severe storms here that has knocked out poer to over 850,000 ComEd Customers and a lot of the traffic lights are out all over. Carlo was supposed to go to his oncologist today for tests and Ultrasound, but I rescheduled as it would have taken forever to drive the 35 miles into the City. Outside of that, life is good! Now, back to picking up more tree limbs and branches. Also have to buy 2 more outdoor umbrella's and look in the woods for some cushions. |

| So sorry to hear Maxine is having pancreatitis problems. Our little Cricket suffered from that. The flares of it always worried us, as I am sure they do you and Marge. Glad to hear you were able to get her in to be seen quickly. Hope Carlo is doing well. Will keep the pretty little Maxine in our prayers.

| I hope that Maxine is feeling back to her regular feisty self very soon. We also got hit here pretty bad too. ComEd said power will but out in our neighborhood for at least 2 days if not more. Luck for us it's not my block but the house right behind me. Let's not discuss the umbrella issue

| I'm sorry Maxine is having a bout of pancreatitis. It's good you caught it early and I really hope she'll be fine again very soon. That was some storm you had. I would have traded our weather for the storm though.

| Poor Maxine. Thank goodness she has alert parents and got supportive care quickly! That storm sounds like it was awful. Scary they can just pop up like that. I will keep Maxine in my prayers....

| Thank you for all the good thoughts. Maxine just took her 2nd dose of Medicine and rested comfortably tonight. Marge just carried her up to bed. The Spice boys are already up there sleeping, and Carlo is downstairs with me snoring up a storm. |
