| systolic heart murmur After LP surgery 5 wks ago and an ear infection about 2 wks ago, here we go again! I took Tek (3 yr old) for his routine shots this morning and the vet thought she heard a systolic heart murmur, probably from the mitral valve. He was panting loudly so she was unsure. He goes back to have his pin out of leg in about 3 wks and she said to have them eval him for it while he is there. They have EKG and Echo capabilities at Hillcrest. Does anyone else have yorkie w murmur like this? No one has ever mentioned it until today. I am very upset by all this...seems like it's just one thing after another. What will be next? I can't bear the thought of losing my best friend way before I should..what do I do since things just keep popping up one after the other. Are there other, more serious, genetic problems that have not manifested yet? |
