| If he is throwing up that much he needs to see a vet they will give him meds to calm his stomach down

YT Addict | Took him to the emergency vet and they would not see him because I was 100 dollars short, can you beleive it, I told them I could bring it back this afternoon as it was 4 in the morning and I only had so much cash in the house. As it stands now he is still throwing up and has been since about 3:30, I have about 45 minutes before his regular vet opens. He is trying to rest in my lap but can't seem to get comfortable, poor baby. After watching him for the past few hours, I do not think this is life threatening, so just gonna hold him close til the vet opens this morning Cynthia

Does your regular vet not have an after hours phone number that you can reach them at? Also look into care credit or something in the future for emergencies such as this. I'm def. not judging, lord knows I have issues..lol..just a thought..

| It could be pancreatitis. I am not sure how old your little one is. I would definitely take him to your regular vet in 45 min. He might be in a lot of pain. I can't believe that emergency vet turned you away! Sorry you had to go thru something like that when your little one is sick! Absolutely terrible!

YT Addict | Thank you guys so much for the support, my Gizmo is almost 5 yrs old, yes his vet has an after hours phone number which rings this emergency vet hospital that I drove 35 miles to at 4 in the morning. I usually have a gizmo fund on standby for just such things, definatly not one of those people that has an animal that they cannot afford to take care of, just been a little tight around here. As for care credit I have bad credit so they turned me down.. I think he will be ok til we make it to the vet this morning...hmmm wow he's actually sleeping right now at my feet...he has not been to sleep since 3 am. Cynthia

| Techs and vets usually are there at least a half hour before they officially open for business. When you get there, tell them it's an emergency if they can't see him right away. Keeping your little one in my prayers...
