| Please help Im very worried bout my Khloe... She was in her cage all day while I was at work and today, I went to get her out of her cage, and I picked her up and held her like she always likes to be held and she yelps like something is hurting her. The pain area seems to be in her front chest area in between her front legs. What could this possibly be. Its 8:50 at night and no vets are open in this area. She doesnt want my daughter which is strange, she loves my daughter she just wants me.

| Is there an emergency vet close by? I am not sure what it could be; however, it sounds like she could be in pain. I think a vet visit will be the best bet.

| Did she yelp just once? or does she continue to yelp every time you touch it?

She is yelping everytime we pick her up. Its usually the way that she likes to be picked up. she isn't eating, and drinking very little. She got some nutri cal in her right now to keep from spiking from not eating. I got an appointment for the vet at 10am in the morning. Just hoping and praying that she will be ok. She is just laying on me and usually when my daughter comes into the room she is running off me to run to her but thats not the case tonight. Prayers are much appreciated! Will keep you informed on what the vet says in the AM

| If it was a one time yelp, I would usually just wait until the morning- but the constant yelping combined with decreased appetite and drinking would make me find an ER vet tonight.

| I'd happen to agree with the other YT'ers if it's a constant yelp then there's something up. You can't be too careful with that area either. There's alot of potential vital organs (i.e. lungs, airways, etc.) that if injured can cause alot of problems. Please go to an emergency vet, just to be safe. Keep us updated!

Here is the UPDATE on Khloe... Took her to the vet and he said that her intestines felt a little thick, but she should be fine, SO... here is to a bland diet..Looks like I will be looking up recipes just as soon as I get finished typing this out. But the vet game her some pain meds for 5 days, and said please let me know if it dont get better. It was weird. I slept with her on my chest all night last night on the couch, and everytime I would move she would yelp.. Poor baby... work up this morning and it was like (ALL MOST) as if nothing was wrong with her, we could pick her up, we could do everything normal again, and the vet felt her and she never yelped once until it was time for her shots of course. STRANGE.... Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. She will be fine.

| Happy to hear Khloe is feeling better. It is very scary when you don't know why they are in pain.
