| Jada has an upset tummy I need a little advice. Jada has an upset tummy. I took her into the bank where I work yesterday and while she was in my office, she found an animal cracker under my desk and had eaten most of it before I could get it out of her mouth. I know that isn't that bad, but she has allergies and I think the wheat and gluten in the cracker is what has messed up her tummy. She threw up about ten minutes after eating the cracker and has thrown up about 3 times since. She last threw up about 10:30 last night. She has eaten breakfast (kibble with some pumpkin) and so far so good. I keep Bismutol?? that her vet gave me for when she gets the mushy poops from her allergies. I have been giving this too since we got home yesterday evening.(after calling my vet and asking if this was ok) My question is this. I know to give chicken and rice with upset tummies, but what can you give instead of chicken(Jada is allergic to chicken).

| Sorry about Jada's upset tummy, you can also do ground beef and rice (1:1), I rinse the beef in a strainer to remove the grease after cooking it.

Thanks Kathy, I will try that if she doesn't keep her breakfast down. I boil my ground beef instead of browning it for us, so I will fix it that way for her.

I really think that stupid animal cracker she got into at work is the culprit. She can't have grain and I think it really bloated her up. Her allergies affect her digestive system as well as cause itching. I think it it about out of her system now. Thanks for your help and concern.

| Thanks Kristin...She is almost back to 100% she keeps going to the kitchen and staring at me if I am in there, I know she wants more food, but I am going the conservative route since she hasn't thrown up since last night. I will probably let her have her usual meal tonight. Who knew an animal cracker could cause all of this.
