| 13 wk old with Neurological Problems....HELP!!!!! WE NEED HELP PLEASE! Faith Ann (One of the Miracle Babies) went to her new home yesterday afternoon. She was perfectly fine....playing and eating. Called and checked on her last night and she was still fine. Didn't want to eat her food but did eat some canned food. This morning was their 3rd shot appointment so her new mom was meeting us there with her. I called to let her know that she needs to be feed before they leave since she might not feel well after and she needed food in her. While on the phone with her, Faith Ann went missing. She got off the phone to look for her. Called me back and said she found her behind the entertainment center. Said she still would not eat and it was time to leave so I brought some of the same food that she has been eating with me to the vet's office. I get there first and then they come. She comes inside and I take this lethargic looking dog out of her hands. I immediately check her gums...they are pink. I offer her food and she won't take it. I check her over and see nothing out of the ordinary except the way she looks and acts. The vet tech comes in and I put her down to see how she walks and she will take a few steps and fall over. She has no balance...will walk straight to the wall and fall and walk along the wall back to me falling several times. Tech gets another tech to come watch. Then they take her back to the Vet. He checks her, can't find anything wrong. Her eyes are dilating so he thinks she was just hypoglycemic. Gives her nutrical and tried to get her to eat some food. We did not do her shots. We all asked if she fell, been hit, kicked, dropped or if she got into something that she shouldn't have. Vet said that she was not electrocuted since she had not signs of burning around her mouth. She came home with me so I could get her better. Gave her more nutrical and syringe fed her baby food. Still was not doing better. Could not sit still without flopping all over the place. Could not walk without falling down. Called the vet back for the second time and decided to take her back in. Got there and the vet seen that she had indeed gotten worse in just the few hours. Eyes were now the size of a pin point. Said she had something neurological going on and needed to know what happened to her. Again her new owner was questioned about what she got into and if she got hurt. Faith Ann was give subQ injection of fluid, Dexamethasone, Atropine and B12 injection. Since we have NO idea what happened or caused it we don't know what we are looking at. Do anyone have any experience with this or know what could cause it???? Any help you can give would be great!! She just ate some food for me out of my hand so that is a good sign...I hope. Still wobbly but not as bad. Pottied fine....little dark and had a normal poop. All help and prayers appreciated. Hugs, Tammie

| Sorry for what the pup is going through, but I have no idea. I do know if it were my pup, we would be with a board Certified Neurologist right now and not a general Vet. Best of luck and I hope there is a happy outcome. |

| I will, thank you. I just could not believe it when I seen her. Not even 24 hours since she was gone and now this. I just don't know what to do. She did eat on her own out of my hand and did walk to the potty pads and seemed much better. The vet said to stay with her at all times so she is either in the crate or in a snuggle bag on me. If only I knew what happened. Sara's mom is the owner and she is just beside her self. I KNOW she was not hurt and feel she ate something just don't know what.

| Oh No, this poor baby. Many prayers going for her. Have they done any blood work on her??? To check her Liver Values possibly?? I do agree she needs to see a specialist.

| We have an appointment tomorrow to see the Neurologist. The vet arranged it and I just got the text from him.

No, I don't. When we go in the morning I will find out who and where. We are to be at his office when it opens.

| Saying prayers for Faith and you too. Did the vet do any bloodwork? Maybe Faith ate something that wasn't good for her. Hope all will be fine. |
