| My Gracie has been throwing up all day HELP! Gracie has thrown up a couple of times in the last two weeks but I didn't really think that it was anything to bad but today I was gone most of the day and when I got home my dh said that she has been doing it most of the day. I called the emergency vet clinic and took her right in. They did an x-ray of her and blood work. They didn't see anything that looked wrong so they gave her a shot of Cerenia and some Hills w/d and said to see how she does tonight. She threw up as soon as we got back home. She did drink a little water and kept that down but refuses to eat. The vet just called to check on her and said to bring her back in in the morning if no better and will do further testing. She is laying in the bathroom and doesn't want to come out. I don't know what to do now. |

| It would probably be best if you don't feed her tonight at all. If she vomits water then hold that too for the rest of the night. In the A.M. give her a small amt of water & if she keeps that down for an hour then try a tablespoon of food. |

| Did they give her fluids? Are her gums sticky? She definitely shouldn't be eating now.

| Poor little Gracie! I'll say a prayer for a quick recovery. It is so scary when our little ones become ill. I hope tomorrow is a much better day for her!

| Thinking of you and little Gracie. After they are sick like that, their bellies need to settle down a bit. As long as her gums aren't sticky to the touch, she should be fine. It just breaks my heart when they are sick, and she will be in my prayers.

| Well not such a good night she threw up 2 more times so the vet called this morning to check on her and she is back there for the day. They are going to do further testing on her to try and find out what is going on. Now to just sit and wait and pray that she will be ok. It's going to be a long day. Keep the prayers coming! |

| I'm so sorry to hear that Gracie isn't better. Sorry you are going through this worry. I'm glad to hear she is at the vet. She probably needs fluids and they can take good care of her there and hopefully find what is causing this. Hugs to you and I'll be checking back for updates...and will pray for her quick recovery.
