| White spot Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Its not quite as big as it looks in the picture. Its about 1/4" in size. I've been watching it a couple of weeks and don't believe it has grown any. All the little brown spots came up about the same time I think. It isn't raised, and it looks like its at the top of her spay incision which had been done about 1 1/2 yrs ago. She acts totally fine in every way. Any ideas what it is or something that should worry me?

| JMO..looks like unbilical cord scar...sometimes I have seen the area get a white dot and the vet said it was because scars lack pigment...but always have your vet check these things out to be safe. |

| PS..if you want to clean up the darker areas on her belly...shave the belly hair and use a shampoo like Chlorhexaderm...sometimes it is a minor bacterical infection that causes the darkening and black spots.. |

| Thanks for the feedback. It does look like a little white dot. Her shots are due in a few weeks, I didn't know if I should run to the vet tomorrow or wait a few weeks when her shots are due. It bothered me also because a few days before I noticed it she was sitting on this man's lap at the nursing home was licking his hand when I noticed he had white spots & sores on his hands. I nicely told him we needed to visit some others while inside I'm freaking out thinking what if he had medicine on his hands or something she could catch. Needless to say I did lots of praying on the way home! And thanks for the shampoo tip. She's always looked so fresh & pink I didn't know what to think about it.
