| TJ is at the ER Hospital It's after 2am and we just got home from taking TJ to the ER Vet (at 7pm). He most likely has stones in his urethra. He is still there, they are still doing all sorts of tests, and having to drain his bladder bc he can't pee bc of the blockage. Lots and lots of things on his blood work is very, very high. He was dehydrated and they have him on fluids now. His potassium is very high which can lead to heart irythma, so they are monitoring his heart and blood pressure and gave him something to protect his heart. He is also on pain meds. I am going to try and get a few hours sleep, still not sure that's possible...but I have a 9am appt. back there with the Surgeon. TJ will almost definitely have to have surgery ...I am a mess.. -nicole |

| Oh no! Poor TJ. I'm so sorry and hope that if he has to have surgery it goes smoothly and he recovers quickly and painlessly. Thoughts are with you.

| I got to see my little monkey. He is doing good this morning. I talked on the phone with my Vet this morning and now with the Surgeon he at the Specialty hospital. We are going ahead with surgery. With TJs history and the struvite and urate crystals, they feel he has an underling liver issue (which I kinda knew). He has a few stones in his urethra that they will try to flush back into the bladder, then remove them and clean out his bladder. Then they are doing another surgery to give him a new bigger pee hole (I don't know the correct terms for all of this). But this is best bc if he produces more stones he'll be able to pass them. ...never thought he would be in this predicament... My head is spinning and I can't think! It frustrating me bc I know all this stuff, but for some reason I can't even add 2+2 |

| Praying for a safe and successful surgery for little TJ, and a speedy recovery. Any idea when you will be able to bring him home?
